Birkenau Museum 3Dscan

Project status: financing
Partners: Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation

The Foundation was established to support the preservation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial site. This principle, which has guided the organization from the very beginning, is to seek and provide financial support worldwide, organize public, private and corporate partners, and focus on investing its Perpetual Capital, from which the yields are used for saving all authentic remains at the former camp. These are ruins of buildings that still exist today, roads and all personal belongings. It's not just about physically preserving – a task responsibly and brilliantly managed by the Memorial conservation team – but also about seeking new solutions, including technological ones, on how the authenticity of Auschwitz-Birkenau can be secured for future generations.

Satellite Certified

3D Content

Project status: financing

In the world of media, particularly in the news industry, the speed of acquiring information is crucial. Factors such as time and cost of reaching a location, expenses for a reporting crew, or lack of access to a location, make operating on a global scale challenging. More and more, materials submitted by witnesses to events [user content] are being utilized. In the era of Fake News and technologies enabling the creation of fake content, media outlets face the challenge of verifying the authenticity of these materials.
The answer to these challenges is a system for certifying the authenticity of user content for media needs. This allows for the transformation of uncertain user content into media content with an authenticity certificate. In the long term, in addition to certification, the system will use user content to generate data for virtual filming locations.
